Born in Japan, Ryo started the violin at the age of 11, studying under Laurent Rougoulet and Mami Teshigawara. In 2015, he entered to the Royal Academy of Music with scholarship and studying under Richard Deakin, graduating with First-class honours in 2019. He is currently on MMus programme at RAM with Mayumi Fujikawa. His master class experiences include world-leading virtuosos such as Maxim Vengerov, Nicola Benedetti, and Vladimir Ashkenazy. His experiences of performances as a soloist are varied from concerto to salon concerts, Baroque to Contemporaries, but also as chamber musician and orchestral player is rich, including prize-winning ensemble.
